He is at it again! Bill Rogers has completed a 100" Stinson Reliant for the SCAF President Nic Case.
The Reliant was used by the United States Army Air Forces in World War II as a utility aircraft, designated UC-81, and as trainer designated AT-19. The Royal Navy and Royal Air Force also used them, for light transport and communication duties.
Bill Rogers has completed this Texan aircraft (now ready for signwriting) for Lester who is a member of the Kingaroy club.
Before 2020
Roger's Aircraft Maintenance Services of Nambour, Queensland, is once again turning out some excellent aircraft for public display.
Dave Mount of the SAAMBR club (just north of Brisbane), has commissioned Bill Rogers to 'scratch build' from plans this 90" Fokker D.V111. So far some 120 hours has gone into the construction with a possible 20 hours to go on covering and painting.
What a beauty this one will be!
